After 1 to 2 days of on-site installation and commissioning by the COWIN after-sales team, the production line has been formally launched. This marks the 7th maleic anhydride grafting line purchased by the client.
Tailored exclusively for the maleic anhydride grafting process, the line is dedicated to manufacturing various compatibilizers and toughening agents. It adopts the CHT65D high-torque twin-screw extruder with an L/D ratio of 52. Screws and barrels are made via HIP technology featuring outstanding wear and corrosion resistance, equipped with a double-plunger non-stop screen changer. Supporting auxiliary facilities adopt a self-developed underwater pelletizing system. The advanced devolatilization and vacuum venting system lays a solid foundation for low-VOC compatibilizer production.
The client has maintained long-term in-depth cooperation with COWIN and sourced all production equipment from our company. COWIN provides customized twin-screw granulation solutions to suit its technical demands for mutual development.
