Recently, in the heat of summer, a customer delegation traveled all the way from North America to visit the COWIN factory in Anhui, China, for the factory acceptance of two CSE120 single screw extrusion lines.

The cooperation began after both companies met at K 2025 in Germany. Following several months of technical discussions and project evaluations, COWIN stood out among multiple equipment suppliers with its professional engineering solutions, reliable product quality, and comprehensive technical support, ultimately leading to a successful partnership.
During the two-day factory acceptance, the customer conducted a comprehensive review of COWIN’s manufacturing and quality control system. The inspection covered internationally sourced components, critical machined parts, material selection for screws and barrels, and COWIN’s wear-resistant screw and barrel solution, which received high recognition from the customer.
The extrusion lines then successfully completed powered production trials with material. Both lines operated smoothly throughout the testing process, meeting all design specifications while exceeding the customer’s expectations for overall production performance.
The customer explained that most of their existing extrusion equipment had previously been supplied by European and American manufacturers, making this their first purchase of extrusion equipment manufactured in China. From conventional strand pelletizing systems to fully automatic underwater pelletizing systems, the customer expressed satisfaction with COWIN’s equipment design, manufacturing quality, and attention to detail, while also recognizing the company’s well-established quality management system.
During the factory tour, the customer reviewed COWIN’s complete manufacturing process, including raw material control, precision machining, quality inspection, equipment assembly, and factory testing procedures. In the afternoon, technical teams from both companies held in-depth discussions on future projects. The customer also showed strong interest in COWIN’s twin screw compounding and pelletizing systems, creating new opportunities for future cooperation.
All COWIN extrusion systems are designed in accordance with UL y CE standards. Key electrical components—including Siemens PLCs, Siemens HMIs, and ABB variable frequency drives—are supplied by internationally recognized brands and supported through global service networks, ensuring reliable operation and long-term performance.
The successful factory acceptance demonstrates the customer’s confidence in COWIN’s manufacturing capability and product quality. COWIN will continue to provide reliable extrusion equipment and professional engineering solutions while building long-term partnerships with customers around the world.
