One-step 3D Printing Filament Production Line–twin screw extruder

プロセスフロー
In the conventional 3D printing filament production process, various raw materials are first compounded and pelletized into masterbatch using a twin-screw extruder. The masterbatch is then extruded and formed into filaments via a single-screw extruder.
The one-step 3D printing filament production process directly compounds raw materials in a twin screw extruder. A melt pump is installed at the extruder outlet to ensure stable and uniform extrusion of the melt into filaments.
This eliminates the intermediate pelletizing step while taking full advantage of the modular segment configuration of the twin-screw extruder.
Advantage:
It truly achieves multi-functionality in one machine: it can compound and pelletize various materials as well as perform extrusion
forming.
Compared with the conventional process, the one-step 3D printing filament production process is more economical and
energy-saving, delivers better material properties, and enables a wider range of material processing applications.
Single-Screw Extrusion Molding 3D Printing Filament Production Line
It is specially designed for the formula research of raw materials in laboratory and 3D printing pre-production.
This system features light weight, compact size and combined integrated functions. The mixing function of the screw is adjustable. The barrel and screw are easy to disassemble and clean. The shaft core of the screw feeding section is equipped with a cooling function. A nitrogen charging port is reserved at the feed inlet. Parameters of extrusion output and outer diameter are fully adjustable.
All kinds of technical parameters can be custom redesigned according to users’ requirements.

The key to the preparation process of carbon fiber prepreg filaments lies in two aspects. First is the dispersion of carbon fibers, which directly affects the impregnation effect. At present, the mainstream filament spreading processes are mainly divided into three types: mechanical roller spreading, airflow spreading and ultrasonic spreading. Second is the molding process; the impregnation effect directly impacts the performance of the filaments. Typical impregnation processes include melt impregnation, powder impregnation, solution impregnation, lamination compounding, and reaction impregnation.
