High Speed Mixer

Offering efficient blending of plastic materials, the high-speed mixer features shorter mixing cycles, broad material compatibility (powder, granules, and liquid), and simple operation controls. Ideal for processing PVC, PE, and PP, and supports heat-sensitive materials with superior mixing uniformity.

High speed mixer components

Components

  • Mixing Pot (Mixing Chamber): The primary space where material mixing occurs. Typically made of wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant materials like stainless steel. It features good sealing and can withstand certain temperatures and pressures, ensuring efficient material mixing inside.
  • Stirring Paddle (Impeller): Installed inside the mixing pot. It exerts forces on the material through high-speed rotation, causing intense material movement such as convection, shearing, and diffusion, promoting uniform mixing. Its shape (e.g., common paddle type, turbine type, etc.) affects the mixing effect.
  • Drive Motor: Provides the power source for the equipment. Motor power and other parameters are matched to the mixing requirements, ensuring the stirring paddle operates stably at the set speed.
  • Discharge Device: Used to discharge the mixed material from the mixing pot. Generally takes forms like pneumatically or manually controlled discharge doors. Ensures smooth discharge and allows for good control over discharge speed and residue amount.
  • Frame and Base: Provides support for the overall equipment structure, ensuring operational stability. Dissipates vibrations generated during operation and serves as the foundational platform for installing other components.

Advantages

  • High Mixing Efficiency: Leverages the high-speed rotating stirring paddle to ensure materials fully contact and mix in a relatively short time. Compared to ordinary mixing equipment, it can significantly shorten mixing cycles, improving the efficiency of subsequent production steps like plastic extrusion.
  • Good Mixing Uniformity: Intense material movement promotes uniform dispersion of various components (e.g., resin, additives, pigments, etc.), reducing plastic product quality issues caused by uneven mixing, such as inconsistent coloration or performance fluctuations.
  • Wide Material Adaptability: Can handle plastic raw materials and additives in different forms like powder, granules, and liquid. Suitable for complex formulation systems, applicable to the mixing of various resins like PVC, PE, and PP in plastic processing.
  • Relatively Simple Operation: Features a concise control interface (e.g., allows setting parameters like speed, time, and temperature). Discharge and other steps are convenient, facilitating continuous and automated production line operation.
  • It can be used in conjunction with a horizontal mixer, making it ideal for heat-sensitive materials such as PVC.
