Description
Lab Twin Screw Extruder is mainly used in the research and development of polymer plastics, mainly for universities, enterprises and research institutes. The main feature is that the screw diameter is small, which greatly reduces the use of materials in the application and development.

1. The screw and barrel adopt an advanced “building block” design. The screw is composed of various types of screw blocks on the shafts. So as to flexibly combine the ideal structure of screw elements according to the technological requirements of material varieties, so as to realize the conveying, plasticizing, refining, shearing, exhaust, pressure building and extrusion of materials And so on. Another advantage of the “building block” design is that the worn screw and barrel components can be partially replaced, which avoids the scrapping of the whole screw or barrel, greatly reduces the maintenance cost, and is convenient for cleaning and observing the whole melting process.
2. Accurate measurement and reasonable feeding method are the key to strictly implement the formula, and also the first pass to ensure the product quality. According to the performance of materials and the needs of users, we are equipped with a variety of feeding methods, such as volume feeding, gravimetric feeding, etc., to meet the needs of different products.
3. Advanced control system. The extruder is equipped with the advanced and beautiful control system, and most of its control elements are imported, with good quality and high sensitivity. The operation parameters of the main engine such as current, voltage, temperature and torque are very intuitive, so it is very convenient to operate, and the requirements for operators are not high. It can also be configured with touch screen and Siemens PLC centralized control system according to customer needs, which is highly intelligent and easy to operate.
4. The system is equipped with several kinds of pelleting methods, such as water cooling strand pelletizing line, air cooling strand pelletizing line, underwater pelletizing line, water ring pelletizing line and air cooling hot face pelletizing line. It can be configured according to different materials and user’s requirements.
5. In addition to common laboratory twin screw extruders, COWIN also produces a split laboratory twin screw extruders. The split laboratory twin screw extruder is “Clamshell” type, which is composed of upper and lower barrels. The lower barrel is fixed on the frame, and the upper barrel is connected to the lower barrel through the worm gear reducer. Generally, the upper and the lower of the barrel are bolted with two rows of bolts. When the barrel needs to be opened, just loosen the bolts and turn the handle of the worm gear box to open the barrel.
6. Extruder with wheels, mobile, can also be directly placed on the platform laboratory console, the overall compact and exquisite.
